Two Good Ears Podcast
Two Good Ears with Rich Reardin is a podcast that explores the music world from every angle—introducing new artists, uncovering the people behind the music, and revisiting legendary stories. It’s a space for sharing experiences and perspectives, where conversations flow freely between musicians, producers, engineers, and passionate fans. The show grew out of In Search of a Song, a long-running public radio series created in 2005 with guitarist Jason Wilber (John Prine), which produced over 700 episodes for PRX (Public Radio Exchange).
Now, Two Good Ears (TGE) carries that spirit forward, expanding into fresh interviews, pro-audio insights, music history, and lively discussions with guest hosts and friends who have lived and breathed the art of making music.

TGE Episode 302 - Neale Eckstein
In this episode, host Rich Reardin sits down with singer-songwriter and studio owner Neale Eckstein, the heart and soul behind Fox Run Studio. Neale reflects on his lifelong musical journey, from learning guitar during the Peter, Paul and Mary era to his time in college playing in cover bands. Though he became a pediatric dentist, Neale's passion for the singer-songwriter genre never faded. Along with his wife Laurie, he hosted the beloved Fox Run Concert series for over 20 years. Neale's love for recording technology led him to create Fox Run Studio, where he has produced numerous albums for others. As he approaches his 75th birthday, Neale releases his long-awaited solo album, It’s Never Too Late, with the help of his close-knit songwriting group, the Fox Run Five. Tune in to hear Neale’s inspiring story of following his musical dreams, no matter the age.
